BAKE CLUB PEANUT BUTTER & JELLY CAKE SAMMIES
BAKE CLUB PEANUT BUTTER & JELLY CAKE SAMMIES
Nostalgic flavors are kind of our thing at Milk Bar. The flavored milk at the bottom of your cereal bowl, the ooey gooey buttery notes of your mom’s favorite pie, chocolate and peanut butter swirled into an ice cream—we love it all. When we get to thinking about flavors of our youth, the one that reigns supreme is no doubt peanut butter and jelly. While we love the classic combination of white bread smothered with grape jelly and nutty butter, we know there’s always room to turn the dial up on the flavor and fun. This recipe swaps out the boring bread layer of the classic sandwich for a bold, sweet, sliceable loaf—translation: we turned this lunch box staple into a cake you eat with your hands.
