Candy Cane - Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie
Instructions:
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees with your 10-inch cast-iron skillet in it.
2. In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugars until combined. Stir in egg, peppermint and vanilla. Stir in flour, milk powder, baking soda and salt. Stir in ¾ cup chips and 8 crushed candy canes.
3. Carefully remove the skillet from heat and spread the dough evenly to the edges. Line the outer edge of the dough round with remaining ¼ cup chips and 2 crushed candy canes.
4. Bake until cookie is golden brown and just set in the center, 18-20 minutes.
5. Let cool 10 minutes before slicing, spooning or crushing with a scoop of killer ice cream.
