Candy Cane - Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie
Instructions:Â
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees with your 10-inch cast-iron skillet in it.
2. In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugars until combined. Stir in egg, peppermint and vanilla. Stir in flour, milk powder, baking soda and salt. Stir in Ÿ cup chips and 8 crushed candy canes.Â
3. Carefully remove the skillet from heat and spread the dough evenly to the edges. Line the outer edge of the dough round with remaining ÂŒ cup chips and 2 crushed candy canes.Â
4. Bake until cookie is golden brown and just set in the center, 18-20 minutes.
5. Let cool 10 minutes before slicing, spooning or crushing with a scoop of killer ice cream.
