3 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons milk
½ cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter, melted
2 tablespoons sugar
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
Heat oven to 325° F and grease two baking sheets.
In a large bowl, whisk together butter, milk. Whisk in sugars.
Switch to a spatula and mix in flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
Wrap and refrigerate dough for 30 minutes.
Like you would a pie dough, on a lightly floured surface, roll out dough ⅛” thick.
Cut the sheet of dough in two so it fits across two baking sheets and transfer dough.
Bake for 8 minutes as a sheet of dough.
Remove hot pan from oven and very carefully with a dinner knife, pizza roller, etc squares, rectangles, triangles— your choice.
Brush or rub the sheet of dough with butter. In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon then sprinkle atop the surface of the dough.
Lower the oven temp to 300F and bake for another 8 minutes, until shapes are lightly golden brown on top (watch closely). Allow to cool completely before making an epic bowl of cereal, cereal treat or storing in an airtight container for a snack attack sure to come later.
