Bake Club Skillet Cookie

One giant cookie, serves 8-10
8 tablespoons unsalted butter
⅔ cup light brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ¼ cup all-purpose flour
1 Tablespoon milk powder
¾ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
10-inch cast iron skillet
- Heat oven/ grill/bonfire to 350 degrees with your a 10-inch cast-iron skillet in it.
- In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugars until combined. Stir in egg and vanilla. Stir in flour, milk powder, baking soda and salt. Stir in chips.
- Carefully remove the skillet from heat and spread the dough evenly to the edges. Bake until cookie is golden brown and just set in the center, 18 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes before slicing, spooning or slathering with ice cream.
