Bake Club Frosted Coffee Dip
Makes 1 ½ cups
2 tablespoons cup ground coffee
⅓ cup milk
Cold steep overnight
1 stick butter, softened
2 cups confectioner’s sugar
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
Day 1
In a small bowl, mix ground coffee and milk together with a spoon. Cover and cold steep in the fridge overnight.
Day 2
In a large bowl, mix butter, confectioner’s sugar, vanilla and salt together until smooth.
Out of the refrigerator, strain the milk from the coffee using a coffee filter. Measure ¼ cup coffee milk.
Add coffee milk to the frosting mixture in the bowl, 1 tablespoon at a time stirring thoroughly between each addition to ensure a smooth, even mixture. As you add coffee milk, the mixture will deepen in color and flavor. Once your last coffee milk addition is complete, taste the Frosted Coffee Dip. Add more confectioner’s sugar, salt or coffee milk as you please to sharpen the edges to your taste buds.
Use as spread for your morning toast, dunk a Coffee Cake Truffle Crumb Cake or dip a graham cracker until you reach Frosted Coffee bliss.
