Bake Club Sugar Cookie Bark

Makes about 12 pieces, one ¼ sheet pan


Bake Club Sugar Cookie Bark 

1 stick butter, softened

⅔ cup sugar


1 egg

½ teaspoon vanilla


1 cup flour

½ tsp salt

½ tsp baking powder


Heat oven to 325F and grease a ¼ sheet pan.


In a medium size bowl, mix butter and sugar together until well combined. Mix in egg and vanilla, stirring until incorporated. Add flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda and mix just until incorporated.


Spread batter evenly across greased ¼ sheet pan. Bake at 325F for 30 minutes until cookie bark base is golden brown all around and caramelized into a cruncy, bark form.


Cool at room temperature before removing from pan and frosting.


Bake Club Chocolate Frosting

Makes 1 cup - enough frosting for a Sugar Cookie Sheet


3 tablespoon butter, softened

½ cup powdered sugar

1 ½ tablespoons cocoa powder


Splash milk

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch salt


In a medium bowl, mix together butter, powdered sugar and cocoa powder and stir vigorously until smooth and well combined. Stir in milk, vanilla extract and salt until smooth and well combined.


Pop cooled sugar cookie bark from it’s baking sheet and spread frosting evenly across the surface. Sprinkle with decor to your heart’s delight. Break into big and little pieces, and store, share or dig in yourself!
