Momofuku Milk Bar is the bakery-inspired dessert branch started by Christina Tosi and David Chang. Before opening milk bar Christina Tosi founded the dessert program at Momofuku restaurants, which included deep-fried apple pie (homage to McDonald’s apple pie) and Cereal Milk Panna Cotta for Ko’s opening menu. The original Milk Bar location opened in November 2008 in NYC’s East Village neighborhood, next to Ssam Bar, on 13th street. Since the beginning, we have focused on putting a playful and approachable spin on familiar home-style desserts and savory snacks using quality ingredients and locally sourced dairy.
Milk Bar currently has 5 locations in NYC. Toronto is the 6th location, in addition to seasonal pop-up shops and markets in New York throughout the year. Our kitchen is located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn where everything is handmade and baked fresh daily!
Milk Bar Toronto brings a fun and interactive space where customers can select their own fresh-made baked goods brought in from our NYC kitchen. We are located on the 2nd floor of Momofuku Toronto, selling our favorite Milk Bar items, such as compost cookies®, crack pie®, b’day truffles, and cereal milk mix.
