Milk Bar Bakery | The Washington Post – October 9, 2017

It’s about to get easier to get your Crack Pie fix.

James Beard Award-winning pastry chef Christina Tosi is opening two new locations of Milk Bar in Washington, including a Logan Circle outpost that will be the cheery bakery’s largest shop to date. Projected to open at the end of the year and housed in a former auto-mechanic shop, the 2,382 square feet space on 15th Street will feature a courtyard for sit-down dining and a classroom — the bakery’s second in the nation.

Instructors from Milk Bar’s culinary team will host weekly classes on how to make the bakery’s most popular items, including naked cakes, cake truffles and Crack Pie, the tongue-in-cheek dessert named for its addictive qualities. The classes will accommodate up to 25 guests. (read more
